Oxmoor Bourbon Company
-
Oxmoor Farm dates back to 1791 and housed five generations of Bullitt family members, lawyers who were integral to defining and defending bourbon in Kentucky. In January 1920, they crafted a legendary bourbon. Weeks, days, hours, or possibly minutes later, also in January 1920, American Prohibition went into effect. As quickly as it had been bottled, Oxmoor bourbon was banned.
November of 2023, this side of prohibition and one well-preserved and highly-expanded Oxmoor Estate later, the Oxmoor Bourbon Company is bringing the past back to life with historical tours, whiskey education, and one, inauspicious Private Stock Bourbon. Oxmoor Bourbon would live to see another day as well as another century.
We created an entire identity around Oxmoor Bourbon, starting with the label of the bottle. Inspired by numerous incredible aspects of the Oxmoor Estate, history, and its architecture, we constructed a look and feel that evolved
into an entire historic aesthetic. Our Oxmoor branding is now an integral part of not only experiencing the
bourbon-of-old. It has become an expression of the historic estate itself, tours, tastings, and the inimitable history of Kentucky bourbon whiskey.
